Situation
Unreachable by phone from one moment to the next.
The Dutch site of the pharmaceutical company could not be reached by phone at all. Customers, partners and colleagues could not get anyone on the line. The cause was a badly outdated telephony system.
Approach
Backup restored, software reinstalled and updated.
Effecta restored an old backup, reinstalled the software and reprogrammed the system. We then updated the software to the latest version.
Result
Reachable again that same day.
That same day the telephony system was working again and the organisation could be reached by phone. The site was able to carry on without further interruption.
