Privacy statement
Effecta processes as little personal data as possible. Below you can read which data we process, why, how long we keep it and what rights you have.
1. Who we are
Effecta, located at Kerkenbos 1065, 6546 BB Nijmegen, is responsible for the processing of personal data as described in this statement. Our data protection officer is Auke Smit, who can be reached via info@effecta.nl or +31 (0)85 210 6430.
2. Which data we process and why
We only process data that you give us yourself, for example through a form, the Real Contact Scan, a job application or in a customer relationship, plus the technical data needed to keep the website working securely.

3. Effecta Connect
Effecta Connect does not store conversation data or customer data of our customers: the platform is a gateway on top of existing sources. Only for users who log in are first name, last name, email address(es) and phone number(s) stored. We conclude a data processing agreement with customers who use Effecta Connect or Managed Services.
4. Who we share data with
We do not sell data. We only share data with parties that help us deliver our services, such as our hosting provider and the service we use to send email, and only within the European Economic Area or under appropriate safeguards. We conclude data processing agreements with these parties. We provide data to the authorities if the law requires us to.
5. Cookies
This website only uses necessary cookies and, if you give your consent, cookies for statistics. Which cookies these are and how to change your choice is set out in the cookie statement.
6. Security
We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (https), restricted role-based access, logging and regular updates. Do you suspect a security problem? Report it via security.txt.
7. Your rights
You have the right to access, correct and erase your data, to restrict the processing, to have your data transferred and to object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can always withdraw consent you have given, for mailings for example. Send your request to info@effecta.nl; we respond within one month. If you disagree with how we handle your data, you can lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
8. Changes
We amend this statement when our services or the law give reason to. The date at the top indicates the latest version.
