Personal attention and care for clients.

A healthcare organisation in the province of Zuid-Holland with thirty district teams, ten residential care locations, a rehabilitation centre and 2,700 employees. Outdated telephony and a new care alarm project called for overview, structure and a project-based approach.

Situation

A fragmented equipment landscape and unclear responsibilities.

While phasing out its outdated telephony, the organisation ran into a fragmented equipment landscape. Responsibilities were unclear. The care alarm project also lacked a clear internal project organisation.

Approach

A project manager who moves through the organisation as an independent spirit.

Effecta’s proactive project manager communicated with all stakeholders and moved through the organisation as an independent spirit. He brought overview and structure and made sure the care alarm system was delivered with a project-based approach.

Result

Technology once again in service of what really matters.

ICT end users are more satisfied, the projects have structure and carry less risk, and there is more calm in the organisation. That puts technology back, as far as possible, in service of what ultimately matters: personal attention and care for clients.
